Hot Crumb Apple Pie


 I cheated and used the Pillsbury already made roll out dough. But don't tell anyone ok, our little secret!
Ok for the filling...

6 apples
2 tablespoons of tapioca
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Mix all the ingredients together and let sit about 10 minutes. Fill pie crust with the mixture. Then top it off w/crumb topping...
1 cup wheat flour (you can use white)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
6 tablespoons cold butter
Combine until it resembles crumbs. Bake on 425 for 20 minutes, drop temp down to 350 and bake another 15 minutes or until done (apples in center will be tender when poked w/a fork, top will be crisp, wrap crust edges in foil if browns too quickly.
