Ghiradelli Brownies

Okay I can't take credit for this one. I was in a very lethargic mood, but all I knew was that I wanted chocolate fudgey brownies and I wanted them NOW! I didn't feel like creating a recipe. I looked on the back of my Ghiradelli Cocoa Can and followed the recipe, ha! The only thing I did different was add in White Chocolate Chips, and baked them in a smaller baking dish so I could have deep dish chewy brownies.

I feel a little bit like a cheater for sharing this recipe because it isn't my own. But hey sometimes you just want no muss and no fuss. I figure it's good to know which recipes that are out there are really good! This one is a winner in my book.

2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup Ghiradelli Sweet Ground Chcoolate Cocoa
2/3 cup unsifted flour
1/4  tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp.salt
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped, optional ( I used white chocolate chips instead)
1 cup 60 % Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips (optional)

Preheat oven to 350

Using a spoon, stir eggs w/sugar and vanilla; add butter. Sift sweet ground chocolate w/flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir into egg mixture; add nuts. Stir in chips. Spread onto a greased eight or nine inch square pan. Bake for twenty to thirty minutes. For extra chewy brownies use an eight inch pan and less baking time. For cake like brownies, use a nine inch pan and longer baking time. Cut into squares. Makes sixteen to twenty brownies. Enjoy
