Healthy Berry Smoothie

My son Aiden is off from school this week for Spring Break. So I'm coming up with a couple of fun and healthy recipes we can make together in our kitchen.  It is always a challenge to keep him eating healthy and enjoying it! I'm lucky in the sense that he will try anything once!  He told me just  last week he didn't like Yuca. My challenge was to get him to like it. How can I hide it in the dish some how? I ended up making Yuca pancakes. It was basically a potato pancake and he loved it!
All my recipes are based around him! He even helps me pick out the best pictures to post.  Today we made Very Berry Smoothies together. I love so much having him in the kitchen with me and I encourage you to get your children in there as well! So many great benefits will come from it that I can promise you :D The health benefits this smoothie offers are amazing. Loaded with antioxidants and vitamins!

Look how thick and creamy these are!

1 cup frozen berries (we used a mix of raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries)
1 cup fat free yogurt ( we used Dannon light and fit vanilla)
1 cup skim milk, or fat free
1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar

Pour everything into a blender. Have your child press the button labeled "smoothie". Blend until it's nice and creamy and then serve in a big glass!
