
2 cups Italian breadcrumbs (or plain breadcrumbs and add in 1 teaspoon each of ; garlic powder, salt, oregano, basil and parsley)
1 cup grated pecorino romano cheese
1 16 oz. block mozzarella cheese (cut @ the longest length of the block, then cutting once more to make two sticks per cut)
3 large eggs beaten
1 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
Stir breadcrumbs and cheese together. Pour the Vegetable oil in a saucepan and heat on high. Coat the cheese sticks in egg allowing access to drip off, then roll into breadcrumbs. Do these steps twice for each cheese stick. Let dry five minutes on wire wrack. Then place them in hot oil frying for one minute per side. Serve with Marinara sauce and enjoy!
