Cran Watermelon Popsicles w/a Splash of Lime

Who doesn't love a nice cold refreshing popsicle? I think children and adults truly can enjoy this tasty treat! You can add alcohol and omit fruit juice for  even more of an  "adult treat." My son and I love trying new flavor combinations together. It's a great way to get kids in the kitchen with you. A sense of accomplishment and pride for the children. This one happens to be one of our favorites and we hope you enjoy!

3/4 cup cranberry juice
1/2 pound watermelon, cubed
juice of 1 lime
about 2 tablespoons of sweetener depending on how sweet the watermelon is. (agave nectar is a great one)

In a blender combine the lime juice, cranberry juice and watermelon. Blend until smooth. Give it a taste for sweetness. Add in sweetener until desired flavor. Pour into popsicle molds or plastic cups and freeze over night. Pop in a few popsicle sticks and you have yourself a tasty treat! Perfect for the fourth of July this weekend too!

Again if you want this for an adult crowd, omit the cranberry juice and add in vodka. You can play around with flavors, Cranberry Vodka, Lime or even Raspberry will go well with this.
